WHAT IS THE DUBAI TRAM?
The Dubai Tram which is operated by the RTA runs on tracks along public streets, and sometimes on separate rights of way around the Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, and business areas along Al Sufouh Street.
Payment can be made with a Nol Card, the same as Dubai Metro.
They run at 6 minute intervals between Trams 12 minutes interval at regular hours Weekdays (Saturday to Thursday) – From 6:30 AM to 1:30 AM (the next day) Fridays – From 9:00 AM to 1:30 AM (the next day)
Each Tram will has 7 cabins with each cabin measures 3.5 meters in height and 44 meters in length. There are a total of 11 Dubai Trams running in the first Phase.
Each tram has 3 classes of cabins: Gold, Silver and Women & Children.
Access to and from shopping malls, hotels, Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City Capacity of up to 405 passengers.
DUBAI TRAM STATIONS
All Dubai Tram stations are air-conditioned, fitted with electronic doors, which also assist with disabled access.
SPECIAL NEEDS FACILITIES
Dubai Trams have allocated spaces for passengers using wheelchairs or mobility aids.
These areas are marked with a wheelchair symbol.
For passengers using wheelchairs or mobility aids, there is also a specially marked call button that allows these passengers extra time to enter or exit the Dubai Tram.
