The Anantara on Dubai’s Palm is a truly stunning one stop hotel resort, catering for families with children specific clubs, weddings and the discerning travelers with its extensive restaurants, accommodation and pools, 3 lagoon pools and infinity pool and a Jacuzzi. There are 260 hotel rooms, 12 beach pool villas, 3 two bedroom villas and 18 over water Villas, which was a first for the UAE. From the basic room, if you could call it that, your “Premier Lagoon view room” consists of the charming views of the immaculate gardens and enticing lagoon pools. The room is an extensive 47sq meters tastefully furnished with the finest linens and large windows to make the most of the bright sunlight. The Lagoon room comes with either King or twin beds, Nespresso coffee machine and tea making facilities, a mini safe, air-conditioning and a large interactive 42” LED TV.


In the bathroom, you will find a bathtub and separate rain shower, vanity counters. For guests who want a larger amount of space there are many more opulent rooms or villas where the world is your oyster, providing more grandeur such as your own infinity pool, glass floor viewing panels or even your own exclusive villa host, that will assist you with 24hr desires and requests.

The wide range of restaurants cater to many more tastes than most hotels, from Australian food at the Bushman’s restaurant and bar, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese from the Mekong restaurant, international buffet food at the Crescendo, international cuisine at the Lotus Lounge, Mediterranean food from the beach house and International food and bar snacks from the Mai bar, as well as Seafood, Mediterranean & Arabic cuisine at the exclusive Dining by Design restaurant which you will need to book at least 72 hours in advance. You can also sample food and drink from the Revo café, where resident mixologists will hand produce exquisite cocktails to your own taste. The hotel even provides its own cooking school where you can learn how to cook and produce your own Thai food.

If relaxing is your intention why not try the newly opened Turkish Hammam at its Anantara Spa, which provides a wide range of treatments to make you feel revitalised, rejuvenated and fresh skinned. The 24 treatment rooms include holistic cocoon, Ayurveda and couple’s suites. Treatments such as herbal baths, salt inhalation, steam room, ice fountain and a Kniepp walk. The ballroom is an outstanding feature at the Hotel, which is an ideal location for a lavish celebration or wedding.
