Mall Of The Emirates
Currently the second largest mall in Dubai.
This mall opened in 2005 and houses over 520 international brands including department stores, fashion, lifestyle, sports, electronics and home furnishing outlets, the largest Carrefour in the city and over 60 stores that are unique to the centre.
It also adjoins the five star Kempinski Hotel and Pullman Hotel plus the “DUCTAC”, which is the Mall’s 500-seat community theatre and accompanying arts centre, and 70 coffee shops and restaurants.
The Mall has recently undergone its largest ever expansion program including a new wing called The Fashion Dome where you will find all the high end brands. This was to ensure that it was to keep up to date with rival malls and has had a lot of money invested in additional new space to house further outlets.
As you would expect with a mall of this size and calibre food outlets can be found around almost every corner from street style cafes to full à la carte. Spectacular dining can be found at the aforementioned Kempinski Hotel. (We can recommend The Cheesecake Factory)
The complex includes a Magic Planet family entertainment area, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, and the world-renowned Ski Dubai which is the first indoor ski centre in Dubai, a perfect place to cool down in the searing summer heat at a constant temperature of -1º to -2º. Oh and we forgot to say the mall has its own Metro station attached.
